The Atlantic Girls Hockey Federation (AGHF) is thrilled to announce the commitment of Emily Phillips, a standout forward for the York Lady Devils, to Lebanon Valley College (NCAA DIII). As an integral part of the 2022-23 AGHF champion team, Emily’s exceptional performance in the 19U division speaks volumes to her skills. She led in both goals, with an impressive tally of 30, and total points, accumulating 44 throughout the season.
In the 2024-25 season, Emily is set to join the Lebanon Valley Flying Dutchmen in the NCAA Div. III and UCHC conference. She is eagerly anticipating this new chapter in her hockey journey and is excited to follow in the footsteps of her coach, Taylor Borrelli, who had a remarkable playing career at LVC.
“Emily Phillips is a hard and dedicated worker. Emily always comes to the rink with a smile on her face and ready to work! I am very excited for Emily and her future in hockey,” said Borrelli.
Emily extends her gratitude to her parents, coach Taylor Borrelli, and her dedicated teammates for their unwavering support, which played a crucial role in helping her achieve this milestone. She also wishes to acknowledge her early days with the boys’ organization, The Susquehanna Valley Stampede, and her longtime boys’ coach, Alan Zelnick, who contributed significantly to her development.
While Emily eagerly anticipates her collegiate hockey experience, she is focused on the hard work ahead for her and her teammates as they prepare to defend their AGHF championship title.
