Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament

Unfortunately, the AGHF will not be sending a team to the 2025 Quebec International Peewee Hockey Tournament. We hope to be back in 2026.

Approximately 120 teams from around the world come together to participate in what some refer to as the “Little League World Series of Hockey.” In addition to playing tournament games at the Videotron Centre, the 18,259 seat home of the Quebec Remparts, players will participate in games at various rinks around Quebec City. The tournament will be held February 12th to February 23rd, 2025.

Congratulations to the 2024 Atlantic Girls Selects on being the Féminin Division Champions

History

Every year, teams from across the globe travel to this legendary Pee-Wee hockey tournament in Quebec that showcases some of the top talent in the world. Parents and players are exposed to the rich history and traditions of the game and the experience provides an opportunity to be fully immersed in French-Canadian culture and customs. Guy Lafleur, Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, Patrick Roy, Steven Stamkos, Connor McDavid, Auston Matthews, and many more have all participated in this event during their Pee-Wee year.

A long-standing tradition of the tournament is for players to stay with local host families where they are immersed in the French-Canadian language and culture. While Quebec is officially bi-lingual, French is the primary spoken and written language in the area. Quebec has a rich history, and players will have the opportunity to visit sites such as the Old City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Chateau Frontenac, site of the First Quebec Conference in 1943 where Franklin D. Roosevelt and Winston Churchill met to plan the Allied invasion of occupied Europe. The tournament is held during Quebec Carnaval, the city’s winter celebration of the region’s art and recreation.
