Atlantic Girls Hockey Federation is pleased to announce Academic Honor Roll, with a total of 247 AGHF athletes being recognized. To earn a spot on the AGHF Honor Roll, the student-athlete must have a 3.5 GPA or higher. Congratulations to all our scholar-athletes for this academic achievement! It is a reflection to their commitment in both the classroom and our league.

The AGHF Quebec team (Atlantic Girls Selects) takes flight next week for the 2023 International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament

Puck drops on Friday, February 10th for an exhibition game against Team Fury. The team takes on Quebec A’s Sunday at the well-known Videotron Centre, the 18,259 seat home of the Quebec Remparts. 

Along with exhibition and tournament games, the team has events planned to experience the culture of Quebec. A carnival, pond hockey, Ice Castle, a Remparts game, and the infamous exchanging the pins are just a few activities the team will participate in during their week.

The AGHF announces the Players of the Week for the past two weeks (1/20-1/29). The Players of the Week is a weekly feature during the 2022-23 season that honors players in all divisions. Only players that are nominated by their respective teams are considered.

“Leah had both goals against St James on Saturday, and chipped in a third on Sunday as South Pittsburgh won both of their weekend games,” said Coach Hammel.

“Kalena Gruby was a presence on both sides of the ice using her skating ability to create havoc both offensively and defensively. She adopted a fire and forget attitude this weekend as she led her team in shots on goal,” said Coach John.

The Atlantic Girls Hockey Federation is excited to announce the next webinar in the Federation Educational Series which will be Agents and Advisor, and Do I Need One. The Federations continue the education series that has featured guest speakers about college hockey opportunities in the ACHA and NCAA. The next speaker covers agents and advisors featuring the one and only NHL certified agent, Jeff Boston of the Roy Sports Group.

Jeff Boston is an NHLPA Certified Agent with the Roy Sports Group (RSG). Jeff joined RSG in 2007 and has utilized a continually growing network of amateur and professional contacts to recruit and support players with professional aspirations in the United States and Ontario. Featured clients of the RSG include Nico Hischier (NJ Devils), Philipp Grubauer (Seattle Kraken), and Ben Bishop (Buffalo Sabres).

The AGHF is working with RSG to invite all players and their families to an exclusive webinar presentation. The presentation will cover different types of advisors, when you should get one, and the value of an agent/advisor.

The Atlantic Girls Hockey Federation has officially announced playoff locations for the 2022-2023 season. The goal of Atlantic Girls Hockey Federation is to create a competitive balance for all of our teams while giving as many a chance to play for a championship. The AGHF will host playoffs for all age groups and divisions at the conclusion of the regular season in February. Teams will qualify for the playoffs via the KRACH rating system.

The official playoff grid will be available on January 13th and the final playoff schedule will be available the week before each playoff game. Click here to see where each age group will be for the weekends of February 24-26 and March 3-5.
