BIGGEST COMEBACK — Snider Hockey 14U Diamond trailed Cranford Hockey Club by three goals and won 5-4 in overtime on Sunday. Kayden Martinez scored four of them, including the winner, and Ava Tankelewicz turned aside 33 shots.
DOWN TO THE WIRE — Two games were settled with 51 seconds on the clock. Avery Hillmann buried the winner for CT Ice Cats 14U Diamond in a 5-4 game, and Allison Craig did the same for MYHA 16U in a 1-0 win in cross-division play.
OT DRAMA — Five games went to overtime. Elizabeth Nguyen won it for MYHA 14U with 31.5 seconds left against Saugerties Fillies, and Evelyn Brozek ended South Jersey Monarchs’ 12U Platinum weekend with 51 seconds left against New Jersey Jets.
BETWEEN THE PIPES — Julianna Swigart faced 146 shots for South Jersey Monarchs 19U Platinum across two days, turning aside 82 in one game and 64 in the next. Sarah Ismail posted a 44-save shutout for Reston Raiders 19U Diamond.
PERFECT WEEKEND — Fourteen teams went 4-0. Philadelphia Jr Flyers did it in two divisions, 14U and 16U, and Snider Hockey did it in two more.
BY THE NUMBERS — 64 goals were scored inside the final two minutes of a third period, 22 of them in the last 30 seconds. Nine games finished level and six teams came from two goals down to win.

10U Platinum — Jets Win Two by a Goal
New Jersey Jets took both of their one-goal games, Milana Tubito scoring in the third to beat Philadelphia Jr Flyers 2-1 and a three-goal opening period holding up 3-2 against South Jersey Monarchs. Snider Hockey erased a two-goal deficit against Stateline Hawks on Sunday and finished 4-0, as did Princeton Tiger Lilies. Jane Sieke scored three for the Hawks in a win over Union Thunder.
10U Diamond — Twelve Goals, Two Apart
Philadelphia Jr Flyers and CT Ice Cats traded goals all afternoon on Sunday before the Jr Flyers won 7-5. Kate Carchidi scored five of them and Lena Burke answered with three, and Soley Plunkett made 24 saves to hold the lead. Stateline Hawks went 4-0, Abigail Farson scoring five in one of them.

12U Platinum — Monarchs Answer in Overtime
Stateline Hawks took Saturday, Gracie Moran posting an 11-save shutout in a 1-0 win over South Jersey Monarchs and Kaia Briggs scoring and assisting in a 2-1 win over Royals Hockey Club. The Monarchs answered on Sunday with the only overtime game in the division, Evelyn Brozek winning it 2-1 with 51 seconds left while Julia Keegan made 39 saves for New Jersey Jets. Philadelphia Jr Flyers, Union Thunder and York Lady Devils all finished 4-0.
12U Diamond — Nobody Scores, Everybody Stops It
Philadelphia Jr Flyers and New York Islanders played to a scoreless draw on Saturday, Eviana Lemieux making eight saves and Ava Siciliano 27. Royals Hockey Club and Snider Hockey both went 4-0, the Royals holding off Loudoun Knights 2-1 behind a goal and an assist from Aurora Schweizer. Lee Katz turned aside 44 for Princeton Tiger Lilies.

14U Platinum — Ten Seconds, Two Goals
Union Thunder trailed PHC Belles by two before scoring twice in ten seconds of the third period through Megan Ricci and Aria Jain, and held on 4-3. Madison Pawling posted a 24-save shutout as Philadelphia Jr Flyers won 2-0, and NYC Hockey Club closed the weekend 2-1 over the Jr Flyers on Arabella Holmgren’s third-period goal. Heidi Erwin made 55 saves for New York Islanders.
14U Diamond — Down Three, Snider Win It in OT
The best hockey of the weekend was here. Snider Hockey erased a three-goal deficit and beat Cranford Hockey Club 5-4 in overtime on Kayden Martinez’s fourth goal of the game. Hours earlier CT Ice Cats had won 5-4 on Avery Hillmann’s goal with 51 seconds left, and Lyra Kirby ended another overtime game for Union Thunder, 4-3 over Philadelphia Jr Flyers. Abigail Grossman’s 40 saves earned New York Islanders a 2-2 draw with Tri City Eagles.
14U — Nguyen Scores Three, Then Wins One in Overtime
MYHA and Team Long Island produced the division’s game of the weekend on Saturday, MYHA winning 5-4 with Elizabeth Nguyen scoring three and Rebecca Henderson answering with four of her own. Nguyen came back on Sunday to win it in overtime against Saugerties Fillies with 31.5 seconds left. Philadelphia Jr Flyers finished 4-0, the tightest a 1-0 win decided by Kylie Williamson, with Riley Dolan making seven saves and Addison LaFerriere 39 at the other end.

16U Platinum — Islanders Erase Two, Win by One
New York Islanders trailed Lehigh Valley Phantoms by two and came back to win 6-5 on Saturday, Shayna Rand tying it in the third and Sofia Bigg scoring the winner with 2:31 left for her second of the game. The Islanders then held on 4-3 against MYHA on Sunday to share the best record in the division at 3-1 with Saugerties Fillies, for whom Addison Fuls made 57 saves.
16U Diamond — Two One-Goal Wins to Close It Out
NYC Hockey Club went unbeaten at 3-0-1 and finished with 2-1 wins over North Jersey Avalanche and Tri City Eagles, Amalia Cejka scoring and assisting in one of them. Addison McElfresh was excellent in the Tri City net all weekend, including 42 saves in a 2-1 win over Jr Bulldogs. Philadelphia Jr Flyers got 2-0 shutouts from two different goaltenders — Elizabeth Boykin and Stella Nurenberg — with Lillianna Smith making 48 saves in the first of them.
16U — Three Straight Draws for Princeton
Princeton Tiger Lilies played four games and tied three of them to sit 1-0-3, Violet Baldoni setting up two goals and Elizabeth Alt making 18 saves for MYHA in the 1-1 meeting between them. MYHA closed the weekend with a 1-0 win in cross-division play on Allison Craig’s goal with 51 seconds left, Annabelle Sinmerman making 22 saves for the shutout. Philadelphia Jr Flyers went 4-0.

19U Platinum — 146 Shots in Two Days
Julianna Swigart faced more rubber than any goaltender in the federation, stopping 82 for South Jersey Monarchs on Saturday and 64 more on Sunday. Mon Valley Thunder and Potomac Lady Patriots both went 4-0, Mon Valley finishing with a shutout of Snider Hockey behind 23 saves from Gabriella Lopresti. Cassidy Bush made 56 for Skylands Lady Kings.
19U Diamond — Islanders Pull Away Late
New York Islanders beat MYHA 4-3 on Saturday with Addison Menz making 37 saves, then beat Tri City Eagles 5-3 on Sunday with Abigail Randazzo scoring three and Isabel Coogan setting up four. Jr Bulldogs came through unbeaten at 3-0-1, finishing with a 3-3 draw against Union Thunder. Molly Murphy scored both goals in Reston Raiders’ 2-0 win, a game in which Ella Baker made 54 saves for Philadelphia Jr Flyers.
19U — Fowler Ends It in Overtime
Georgia Fowler won it for Princeton Tiger Lilies in overtime, 2-1 over Lehigh Valley Phantoms, after Addison Kelly had made 44 saves to get the game that far. MYHA went 4-0 and saved the closest for Sunday, beating Philadelphia Jr Flyers 5-4 with Emily Robinson scoring twice and setting one up and Alexandra Blace stopping 41. Margaret Pierson made 43 saves on Saturday and 39 on Sunday for Lehigh Valley.
