The spotlight is on. The matchup is set. And the AGHF Game of the Month is ready to drop the puck.
The 2026-27 season is underway, and this year the Atlantic Girls Hockey Federation is putting some of its biggest matchups center stage with the AGHF Game of the Month.
First up? A 19U Elite battle between the NJ Bandits and Princeton Tiger Lilies (PTL) on Saturday, September 12 at Pro Skate Arena.
It’s a matchup built for the spotlight and the perfect way to kick off a season-long slate of featured games across the AGHF.
September Starts at 19U Elite
The 19U Elite division gets the first crack at Game of the Month honors when the Bandits and PTL meet at Pro Skate.
With two programs ready to make their mark early in the season, there’s no waiting around for the stakes to build. September hockey is here, points are already on the line and an early-season statement is up for grabs.
And September isn’t stopping there.
The AGHF will select a second September Game of the Month during the Ice Breaker Showcase, with the featured matchup to be announced. With teams from across the league coming together for one of the early highlights of the season, we’ll be keeping an eye on the schedule for a matchup worthy of the spotlight.
Big Matchups All Season Long
September is just the beginning.
In October, the spotlight returns to Pro Skate when JR Flyers Elite takes on PTL in 16U Elite action on October 18. A second October feature will bring the action to the 19U Diamond division, where the Yale Jr. Bulldogs face the NY Islanders.
The November Freeze Showcase takes center stage the following month, with November’s featured Game of the Month matchup to be announced from the showcase.
December brings us back to 19U Elite as Lehigh Valley and the NJ Bandits go head-to-head before the calendar flips to 2027.
Then there’s one last stop before playoff season.
January’s Game of the Month heads to the 12U Diamond division, where the South Jersey Monarchs take on the NY Islanders in the final featured matchup before the chase for an AGHF championship begins.
Circle the Dates
From 12U Diamond to 19U Elite, Game of the Month will give different divisions and teams across the AGHF their chance in the spotlight throughout the season.
But first, all eyes are on Pro Skate.
