GAME OF THE WEEKEND — NYC Hockey Club trailed Princeton Tiger Lilies by a goal inside the final minute in 10U Platinum and won it anyway. Tereza Steskalova tied the game with 20.3 seconds left and scored again with 5.3 seconds on the clock, Kaleigh Anderson assisting on both for a 6-5 finish.
TOP PLAYER PERFORMANCE — Sophia Negron scored five goals for South Jersey Monarchs in cross-division play, twice pulling her side level before burying the winner with 1:06 remaining in overtime of a 7-6 game.
OT HERO — Avery Fisher set up Emily McManus’s tying goal with 59.7 seconds left in the third, then scored in overtime to finish a 2-1 win for MYHA in 16U.
GOALIE PERFORMANCE — Reaghan Marlow turned aside 30 shots for Princeton Tiger Lilies and Emersyn Swader 20 for Tri City Eagles as the two 19U Diamond sides played through overtime without a goal.
UNBEATEN WEEKEND — New York Islanders were the only team to win three times, sweeping their 19U Diamond weekend behind multi-point games from Emma Sherwood and Abigail Randazzo. Ten other teams won both their games, among them Philadelphia Liberties, who came through 14U Platinum unbeaten on the back of a 32-save shutout from Stellie Lewis and two-goal games from Katharine Domenico and Emma Laielli, and who sit joint top of the division on points.

Princeton Tiger Lilies and NYC Hockey Club met twice on Sunday and split them, the second a 6-5 NYC win decided by Tereza Steskalova’s two goals in the last 20.3 seconds. Kaleigh Anderson finished that game with three goals and two assists, including the helper on both late strikes. Faith Nugent answered with six goals for South Jersey Monarchs in a game that was level at 5-5 going into the third period. Julie Kmieciak scored in all three of Princeton’s games, and the division’s remaining fixture ended 1-1 after overtime, Quinn Shepski making 20 saves for Philadelphia Jr Flyers and Everly Pfender 17 for the Monarchs.
10U Diamond
Team Long Island and MYHA shared the weekend. Gianna Howard opened the scoring in Saturday’s 2-0 win for Team Long Island, Celanie Koos added the second and Bailey Russo was untroubled enough to keep the sheet clean. MYHA took Sunday’s rematch 4-3: Anna Eskandari scored twice and set up another, and Madeleine Murray put them ahead for good with 95 seconds left in the second period.

Abigail Molina scored three times and assisted a fourth as NJ Bandits beat Stateline Hawks 4-2, Brynn Mauer settling it with 18.8 seconds to play. Royals Hockey Club shut out Philadelphia Jr Flyers on Sunday, Ainsley Fox scoring twice and Mara Hideck taking the clean sheet. Princeton Tiger Lilies also won in a shutout, Isabel Matulewicz scoring the opener and Jenna Ramadan stopping all 10 she faced.

Philadelphia Liberties went 2-0, and Stellie Lewis was the reason the first of them stayed comfortable — 32 saves and a shutout, with Liv Stinger opening the scoring 30.8 seconds before the first intermission. Katharine Domenico (two goals, an assist) and Emma Laielli (two goals) led the Liberties on Sunday. Lily Carnevale scored four for New Jersey Jets, and Potomac Lady Patriots won twice, Savannah Meekins collecting two goals and two assists in the second.
14U Diamond
The tightest hockey here came in cross-division play, Saugerties Fillies winning 2-1 on goals from Mei Chen and Gabriella Dziedzic, who also set up the opener. Philadelphia Jr Flyers were the division’s most convincing winners, Giselle Naticchione and Giuliana Danish each posting two goals and an assist and Katelyn Sykes adding two more. Elizabeth Kimmel (two goals, an assist) and Fiona Chong (two goals) carried Union Thunder past Princeton Tiger Lilies.
14U Elite
Philadelphia Jr Flyers and Princeton Tiger Lilies met twice on Sunday, the Flyers winning one comfortably — Ashlyn Davidheiser with two goals, Camryn Baker with two assists — and the other finishing scoreless. Team Long Island won on Saturday, CECILIA FRANCIS scoring twice and Leah Nichols making 16 saves for the shutout.

Philadelphia Jr Flyers won both meetings with NYC Hockey Club. Isabelle Herhal had two goals and an assist in the opener; the rematch was a 2-1 grind in which Farrah Telepchak drew the Flyers level and Brooke Trainor scored what proved the winner early in the second, with Elizabeth Boykin making 31 saves behind them.
16U Elite
MYHA took both games from Princeton Tiger Lilies on Saturday. The first went 2-0, Emily McManus opening the scoring and Elizabeth Alt recording the shutout. The second was far harder: McManus tied it with 59.7 seconds left in the third and Avery Fisher, who assisted that goal, won it in overtime for a 2-1 result.

One game, and one performance that dominated it: HARPER ANDERSON scored six goals and added an assist for South Jersey Monarchs, with Sophia Negron chipping in a goal and an assist and Julianna Swigart keeping the clean sheet.

Princeton Tiger Lilies and Tri City Eagles met twice on Sunday and produced the weekend’s best goaltending between them. Tri City took the first behind Ella Schubert’s opener, two assists from Madeleine Mansour and a shutout from Emersyn Swader; the second went through regulation and overtime at 0-0, Reaghan Marlow making 30 saves and Swader 20. New York Islanders were the division’s — and the weekend’s — only 3-0 side, with Emma Sherwood posting three goals and four assists in one game and Abigail Randazzo scoring in all three.
19U Elite
MYHA shut out Mon Valley Thunder on Saturday, Juliana Langley breaking through with 91 seconds left in the second period and Sarah Cheney finishing the clean sheet. The rematch was the better game: Mon Valley came from behind twice and Lexie Feathers tied it with 147 seconds to play for a 2-2 result, Megan Harbaugh making 44 saves. Philadelphia Jr Flyers won both of their meetings with Princeton Tiger Lilies, 2-1 and 3-1, Reagan Spottiswoode scoring in each.
